July 25th - 27th, 2008 - AMCRC 29th Annual National in Marymount, WA, Hosted by the Cascade Rambler Chapter on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, June 25–27. The meet will be held at the LeMay Auto Museum in Marymount, WA, on July 26, 2008. The theme of the show is the 40th anniversary of the Javelin and AMX model lines. The Cascade Ramblers have planned many special events starting on Thursday, July 24 and running through Sunday, July 27, including a pre-show picnic, tour, and an awards banquet with guest speaker, AMC historian Larry Mitchell. SoCal AMX presents the 2nd Annual WEST COAST ALL AMC CRUISE and CAR SHOW at the NHRA Museum in Pomona, CA. Schedule of events: Friday evening Tribute to legendary AMC V.P. of Styling Richard Teague, 6:30pm at Peterson Museum followed by the crowning of Miss American Motors. After that, there's a cruise to Legends Classic Diner in Glendora. Saturday car show at NHRA Museum from 9am-2:30pm followed by a cruise to Irwindale Speedway where all AMC cars will be allowed to run a few laps on the track. Car owners will receive two tickets to watch races.
